FREE Initial Consultation

At St Johns Dental Practice our free initial consultation is an opportunity for you to discuss your case with one of our experienced and approachable dentists in an informal but structured manner.

We are accredited providers for Lumineers, Enlighten Tooth Whitening, Six Month smiles, Densply Astratech implants, Straumann dental implants and Biomet dental implants and many other systems. After listening we can check that we understand what is important to you and make helpful suggestions that are likely to provide the best result in your case.

Not everybody has an unlimited budget, unlimited time, or enjoys visiting the dentist. If you have that’s great, we love the opportunity to provide you with superb results without compromise. However we embrace the challenge of structuring treatments in phases, advising on lower cost alternatives, or making the treatment faster or manageable to maximise the results in your case.

A free consultation is particularly useful when you:-

  • Have an accident or suffer trauma to your teeth
  • Have failing dental bridgwork
  • Have split post crowns
  • Have crooked teeth
  • Want invisible braces
  • Want smile makeovers
  • Want dental veneers
  • Want implant retained dentures
  • Want dental implants
  • Want a second opinion
  • Are thinking of changing your dentist

Many patients can be confused by the wealth of choices and sometimes conflicting advice that is available. It is often difficult to choose without someone that listens to what is important to you.

The initial consultation is not a replacement for a check up or special investigations such as xrays. It may be a first step towards a comprehensive assessment that is tailored to your particular needs. By making certain assumptions we can usually provide guide prices for different treatment options. Full written treatment plans, Xrays, photographs, Scans incur costs that are discussed before embarking on a detailed quotation.

Our Fees

Our fees represent the value of the treatment we provide. We are also very competitively priced – but not so much so that the standard of our dentistry is reduced.

Our knowledgeable team can advise you of our fees prior to scheduling an appointment after they have discussed your current concerns on the telephone.

This way you are given a good estimate of how much you may be investing in your initial appointment. Please note that we also offer complimentary consultations with our dentists.

Examples of our fees are:

Dental Examination from: £31
Hygiene appointment for a dental clean from: £43

Paying for treatment

We have many ways to help you pay for your treatment. We offer a 0% finance package* where you spread your payment over a period between 6 and 10 months. A credit check is carried out and once approved your treatment can start almost immediately.

On courses of treatment with fees over £2000 a discount available when the account is settled in full by debit card, cash or cheque prior to the start of treatment.
